Your UEP1W Cape Coral FL Update for the Week of September 18 2023
If you have been driving around the neighborhoods lately, you already know that construction is well on its way. It seems that the pace of construction is even faster than it was with UEP2. With the speed of their implementation comes some minor inconveniences. Here is a breakdown of some roadwork that may require you to find a detour when driving through the area:
- Santa Barbara Blvd N - Southbound traffic between NE 15th Ter and Tropicana Pkwy E will be reduced down to one lane.
- NE 12th Ter will be closed from NE Juanita Pl to NE 2nd Ave and available to local traffic only
- Juanita Pl crews will be performing construction activities within the right-of-way along the road between NW 9th St and NE 15th Ter
- NE 12th Ln at NE Juanita Pl will be closed until further notice to all traffic
- NE 15th Pl will be closed from NE 19th Ter to NE 20th St and available to local traffic only
- NE 15th Ter will be closed from NE 12th Pl to NE 13th Ave until further notice (detours are posted)
- NE 12th Pl will be closed from NE 15th Ter to NE 15th St until further notices (detours are posted)

As you can see, they are well on their way and making a lot of progress. At this pace, I anticipate that they will most likely be completed earlier than expected in the Contract 1 and Contract 2 areas.
